Jayne’s VLCD Transformation
Jayne’s VLCD story:
When and why I started:

Jayne’s VLCD Transformation
I started a very low calorie or VLCD on 1st of October 2013 I went on TFR or total meal replacement = 4 food packs a day.
The final push that made me want to lose weight was my eldest son announcing he was getting married in August 2014 I knew my ex husband and his family would be there and wanted to look the best I could I saw an advertisement for NY on FB and looked into it and decided it could be the way for me I have tried just about every diet going over the years, I liked the sound of TFR as I would know what I could have it was very structured no if buts or maybes and the results would hopefully be quick,
My starting weight was 13 stone 12 lb and I was a size 16 dress kidding myself I was a 14 I have lost 3 stone 12 lb and am now 10 stone I have dropped 3 dress sizes to a size 10,
What I most wanted to achieve was to look good and feel comfortable at my sons wedding didn’t want to look back at the photos and wish I had done something about my weight, I wanted to give myself plenty of time to achieve my goal as I didn’t want to be shopping for an outfit at the last minute or buying something and having to slim into it, I actually bought my outfit in January 2014 in a small boutique in a size 10 it hangs in the wardrobe waiting for the big day in August.
What has changed so far:

Jayne’s VLCD Transformation
The benefits I have seen apart from being able to pick up a size 10 and knowing it will fit and also wearing fitted clothes and white jeans, I never thought I would achieve a size 10 but when I started the diet the results were amazing and quick and I was so motivated and inspired by my results what seemed unachievable became achievable, I have gained in confidence those posh dress shops don’t intimidate me anymore and I love shopping with my 19 year old daughter, one of the benefits which was unexpected was the drop in my cholesterol level from 8.3 to 5.4 meaning I have not had to go on statins which my doctor had recommended also I had suffered from a lot of pain in my feet and hips which has completely gone, I have more energy and feel younger and healthier.
About The New You Plan:

Jayne’s VLCD Transformation
I love the secret slimmer’s group as everyone on there is also in the same situation as you are doing your best to be the best you can, I log on everyday to see what is happening if you need advice or support whether it be diet related or just life in general there is always a supportive sympathetic caring ear with loads of advice tips and help and a few laughs as well.
The support I have received from NY has been excellent my products have always arrived on time I get an order confirmation email and a text on the day of delivery telling me when my parcel will arrive with a 1 hour time slot.
Staying on track and menu plan:

Jayne’s VLCD Transformation
I would advise anyone starting to tell their family explain the reasons for wanting to do the diet and gain their support you will get some skeptics but these will quickly be silenced when they see the results being in the right frame of mind is very important you need to be telling yourself you can do this and be very positive organisation is key.
I found the best way to stay on track was to be organised think about your plans for the day and fit your products round them bars are handy for eating on the go but shakes are also easily prepared while you are out with a bit of cold water and a shaker, on a normal work day I would have porridge for breakfast with cinnamon a shake at my desk for lunch and a shake when I got on form work at 5 I would save my bar for the evening as they are so lovely they are like an evening treat.
To drink the water I thought this was going to be really hard as I never drank water and really didn’t like it, I was actually addicted to diet coke which is a habit I have completely dropped, the water flavourings are great and I always start the day now with a large 500ml glass of water then another before breakfast just while I am getting ready for work then as soon as I get to work I get a glass of water on my desk and just keep sipping all day I found ketosis made me thirsty so that helped I easily drink 4 to 5 litres of water a day now.
My time on refeed:
I started my refeed a week before Christmas 2013 as we had booked to go out Christmas day at this point I was 11 stone it was quite scary but it all went well I followed the guidelines introducing food slowly I then had a planned break for 2 weeks over Christmas I did gain 4 lb which I quickly lost once returning to the plan I lost the final stone by the end of February 2014.
I have not used the momentum maintainers as I don’t find it as inspiring and not as many members use it as secret slimmer’s which I continue to look at Daily
Exercise, Favorite products and advice to anyone thinking of starting:
I don’t do loads of exercise but do walk for about 30 minutes everyday
My favourite products are chocolate shakes oatmeal porridge and hazelnut bars.
If you are thinking of starting don’t put it off start today you wont regret it the plan is excellent it works and is life changing
