[Darren’s guest blog]: Week 3-4 Total Food Replacement Weigh in results
Hi everyone! I didn’t weigh in last week as I was in America so this week’s results are a double whammy! Watch the video below to find out how much more I have lost in the last 2 weeks!
I can’t believe it! Another 16lbs gone in the past 2 weeks. That brings my total to an amazing 43lbs lost in just 4 weeks! I am buzzing!!!!!!
Well what a holiday I have had! I have been away since Monday the 23rd November and of course went to New York for three nights and then Philadelphia for five nights. I got back on Tuesday 1st December and OMG Christmas is coming so fast now! Super excited!!! Whoop!
Well today’s weigh-in has made my whole journey to the states and staying on plan 100% so worthwhile. I absolutely smashed my weight loss goal for my time away, losing an incredible 16lbs since my last weigh in on Wednesday 18th November. And not only did I lose weight more weight, I lost another 12.5 inches from my whole body!
Being on the plan while I was on holiday was certainly hugely filled with mixed emotions. Before I left to go to the states I weighed the pros and cons against eating on holiday or sticking to the plan and after a brief little chat I decided that I would stick to plan and be 100% while on holiday and come back and see the results and well, they were certainly worthwhile!!!
The holiday was a breeze! I was well prepared every day and made sure I had enough products with me while I was away so I would not suffer or lose out. I bought these little microwavable bowls that once I put hot water in them and closed the lid it acted as a little cooker so it was great being able to have my dinners while on holiday as this really helped me when Kieran was out eating his dinners. I had a mini disaster on the first day as I forgot all my spices for my dinner and I was like oh no! I looked everywhere in New York but everything had salt in them so I was like “Ah well no spices for me” and it worked out really well – I didn’t miss them at all! Everyday I had a Bar, two Shakes and a double dinner and of course three of the eight nights I had a Snack as well, which was a life saver ☺ It was so great being able to treat myself while in New York and Philly knowing I was not blipping and messing up my plan. I think the best lifesaver was the Savoury Broth. I had this throughout the days in between my meals and of course it was cold over there too so I enjoyed it while walking to shops and attractions.
It was my first experience of Central Park in New York and it was amazing seeing how many films I had seen which were filmed in this park and where they were located. We seen the alleyway where Home Alone was filmed and I hope you all caught my video there as I was so amazed with the park! It was just so beautiful there. We had an amazing four hour walk around the park and I had my Strawberry Bar and White Chocolate Raspberry Wafer. We had an amazing time there and took so many beautiful pictures. It truly is the city that doesn’t sleep. We got to do so many things, it was amazing, We went to The Empire Sate Building, Central Park and A Broadway Show, which was Michael Flatley Lord of the Dance, which was amazing !!! Of course I was armed with plenty of water (still and sparkling) and my products. I think that planning ahead certainly helped me out as there were many opportunities to blip but I was super strong and the results were worth everything.
After New York I went over to play Irish dancing music for the Mid- Atlantic Region in Philadelphia. This was a blast and so many people commented on my weight loss already from last year. Last year I was the guts of 28/29 stone and this year I was 20/21 stone – so much better and the complements were flying in and made it even more worthwhile being 100%. I think the compliments definitely help me out on this plan. It certainly gives you a huge boost in confidence. Lots of people were asking about the diet and what I have to do. I have passed my referral code onto so many people over there and told them all about us in the Secret Slimmers group. They were all as excited about my weigh in as I was today! I’ve already had messages from people asking me how much I’ve lost and they were blown away! One of my friends actually said I am shrinking in front of her everyday.
This holiday has certainly prepared me for Christmas and yes I will be 100% on the plan all throughout Christmas and the New Year! I am going into 2016 happy, healthy and slimmer. I can’t wait to get to my goal weight now and the way it’s going it won’t be long.
I had a huge fist pump moment while in America as I bought all my goal weight clothes for when I start hitting my targets. Lots of clothes have been purchased and I can’t wait to look HOT in them. I have mainly bought L and XL as these are designer shirts which fit smaller, so this has kicked my motivation up a notch to get into them as soon as possible. I have already set a goal of February to fit into some of them and I can’t wait!

Tips for this week….
I highly recommend the Savoury Broth to help those hunger pangs and it means you are upping your water intake too. With the cold water knocking on our door now is the time to get warm and cosy in front of the fire with a huge cup of Broth, yummy!
Your water intake needs to be at least 4 litres a day. Try and get some sort of exercise in a week even if it’s just a 30 minute walk 2-3 times a week. You will see and feel so much better. Try and walk when you’re in the mood to blip – it will freshen you up and make you think about the plan in a different light. Don’t let 30 seconds destroy all your hard work. It’s not worth it, trust me. Nothing feels better than slim does.
